Fuego (1969)

Great Nudity!

Review

Fuego (1969) is our kind of movie. It’s the story a woman, played by Isabel Sarli, a woman, who is on fire with lust. She’s a nymphomaniac who cannot be satisfied by man or woman. Whether she’s tried other species or inanimate objects is not clear. Isabel has the distinction of being the first person to appear nude in an Argentinean film. The former Miss Argentina 1955 met film-maker Armando Bo, and starred in 30 of his films, including this one. Upon his death, she retired from acting. That’s kind of romantic, isn’t it? Isabel was known as the “cleanest actress in the world” because her films always had a nude scene in water. And that’s true here, in a shower scene and swimming in the lake, but her big hoots are also out while screwing in the snow, and in lesbian encounters.
