Great Nudity!

Review

Shinji Imaoka's peculiar "pink" (read: artsy, softcore-y, and very Japanese-y) flick Frog Song (2005) stars kutie Konatsu as a young woman who discovers that her husband has been cheating on her sweet, sweet self. Properly pissed, Kon runs off into the night. Seems straight so far, right? Well, things get pink when Kon wanders into a comic shop and meets Rinako Hirasawa, an amateur manga artist who's no amateur in the sack—the marvelous Ms. Hira-hot-wa makes her living as a hooker. It's not long before Kon has moved in with Rin, and together they delve into all sorts of sin, screwing and singing and trying out S&M. Frogs come into play, too, because the experimental Frog Song is an exercise in not playing by the rules.
