Freischwimmer (2007)

The murder of a popular high school student sends waves through a small German town in Freischwimmer (Head Under Water) (2007). Rico (Frederick Lau) is a loner who is teased by his classmates for being hard of hearing and bullied by his PE teacher Mr. Sammer (Devid Streisow) for his inability to swim. His classmate Robert (Philipp Danne), on the other hand, seems to have everything: athletic ability, loads of friends, and a relationship with Rico's crush, sexy baker's daughter Regine (Alice Dwyer). But when Robert drowns at swim practice after eating a poisoned cake, is embittered nerd Rico to blame? Or is there something more sinister going on?
