Set and filmed in New South Wales, Floodhouse (2003) stars Victoria Thaine as Mara, a girl on the verge of womanhood whose sexual awakening is triggered by the arrival of a man on horseback (Brendan Cowell) to the plot of land she shares with her hippie father, Harry (Robert Menzies). As Mara’s estranged mother, Ava, Catherine McClements gets topless and turns this floodhouse into a woodhouse.
