Opposites attract and then talk 'til they crack in Flannel Pajamas (2006), a slow-moving-but-thoughtful examination of a relationship from meeting to marriage and beyond. Nicole (Julianne Nicholson) and Stuart (Justin Kirk) begin their trip toward getting hitched with a blind date in which they're outright bitten by the smitten. She's a Montana Catholic with mucho money woes; he's a shekel-smart New York Jew. Somehow this all adds up for these two, and they shack up because her place has no loo. Director Jeff Lipsky makes clear to the audience what the main characters can't see: Love each other though they might, something about this couple just ain't right. Yakety-yakking while their relationship goes packing, they try to hold it together with a little help from their friends . . . and some very nice shots of Julianne's hind end. This troubled wedlocker has rocks-offing knockers, and don't miss her go full-frontal starkers!
