Tahliah Debrett Barnett -- known professionally as FKA Twigs -- is a genre-bending singer/ songwriter who is as beautiful as she is talented. Born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, FKA Twigs began taking opera lessons and ballet lessons early in her youth, and by the time she was 17, she was making music in youth clubs. The hauntingly gorgeous club kid transferred from the BRIT School to Croydon College to study the fine arts, and she went on to work as a backup dancer in music videos for artists like Kylie Minogue, Ed Sheeran, and Jessie J. But the star really made it big when she honed in on her musical talents. Her 2014 album LP1 garnered FKA Twigs' critical acclaim, making Top 10 Album lists everywhere. When she’s not wowing audiences with her trippy, minimalistic musical performances, she’s hitting the tabloid pages as the girlfriend of Twilight hunk Robert Pattinson (the couple split in 2017). The U.K. singer hit Mr. Skin’s radar when she got in touch with bondage side in a music video for her hit single "Pendulum" (2015).
