This day in 1977 saw the release of major-studio sexfest First Love, directed by Joan Darling, who had previously helmed TV shows like Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, and featuring nudity from former Partridge Family fox and future LA Law babe Susan Dey and the impossibly sultry Bevery D’Angelo.

Based on a short story by Harold Brodkey, First Love stars The Greatest American Hero’s William Katt as a naive college student learning about love and sex for the first time from Susan and Beverly to the soft strains of the great Cat Stevens.

Susan shows her sacks twice, a sight that wouldn’t be seen again except for in cult sci-fi flick Looker in 1981 and then, for the last time to date, in the 1986 comedy Echo Park.

There’s also a mam-orable moment where Beverly bares her bountiful bosoms and tells Katt the story of Krishna and Radha before trying to some standing sex positions from the Kama Sutra.

Believe it or not, Katt’s walking on air! He never though he could feel so free. And neither will you.
