Fatal Love (1995)

Police cadets are held to a higher standard of behavior than are folks within the general populace. The pert and earnest Ellen Chan might be the prettiest candidate for cop Hong Kong has ever seen, but she’s booted from her class and into the arms of a Fatal Love (1995). On the skids after having been flunked out of the fuzz academy, Chan’s character is revitalized when she is enlisted by the department’s higher ups to go undercover and entrap a heartless, violent, sexually over-stimulated criminal accused of murdering a string of loose and unlucky ladies. The job is fraught with perils, all of which become even more dangerous when the secret detective falls in love with her primary suspect.
