National Lampoon’s European Vacation (1985) is our kind of trip — hilarious and sexy, just how we like it! The PG-13 comedy is also a bit of a landmark as it’s the fourth and final teaming of Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo in the series. If that’s not impressive enough, the movie is written by Brat Pack leader John Hughes and directed by Amy Heckerling of Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) and Clueless (1995) fame. In this flick, the Griswalds win a family quiz show that sends them on a whirlwind tour to see four countries across the pond in just as many days. Naturally, there’s conflict and slapstick galore but to detail these plot points would be to spoil the fun. What we will say is Ellen Griswold (D’Angelo) bares her side breast while taking a shower. The sight is arousing enough to make you reach for a towel! The risqué romp lets audiences view London’s Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Stonehenge, Paris’s Left Bank Fontaine des Innocents, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre museum, Notre Dame de Paris cathedral, Rome’s Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and Claudia Neidig’s nude boobs! Yes, in between visiting England, France and Italy, the Griswalds make a stop in Germany. There, son Rusty (Jason Lively) gets lucky with a Teutonic tart (Neidig) who reveals her rack at a Bavarian folk dance. Danke! Speaking for the team at Skin Central, we’re betting Fräulein Neidig’s serving of skin spätzles will heat up your wiener schnitzel!
