Born in Columbia, South Caroline, in 1936, the attractive, familiar-faced character actress Elizabeth MacRae is a timeless stunner. Unfortunately, she has only offered us a glimpse of her naked beauty. The blonde bombshell is probably best known to audiences for her role as lovely Lou-Ann Poovie on the '60s TV comedy Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C. (1966) and supporting turns on the popular soap operas General Hospital (1969) and Days of Our Lives (1977). She also appeared in films like Love in a Goldfish Bowl (1961), Everything's Ducky (1961), and The Wild Westerners (1962), but those roles were all relatively chaste. Lovely Liz's only nude appearance to date was of the full-frontal nature, albeit a bit brief. She portrayed a deceptively sensitive and sexy party girl named Meredith who manipulated surveillance expert Gene Hackman into bed in Francis Ford Coppola's acclaimed film The Conversation (1974). The nudity is seen in a long shot from quite a distance, but it definitely kept audience's surveillance systems on alert. Elizabeth later appeared on TV series like Guiding Light (1983), Search For Tomorrow (1985), and Another World (1988). She was last seen in a small role in the cult film Eddie and the Cruisers II: Eddie Lives (1989). While her career has ended, Elizabeth is still alive and kicking, and we're grateful for all that she offered us during her sweet sashay through Hollywood.
