In a recent interview with Complex,24 star Elisha Cuthbert has some good news and some bad news.
The bad news is that she always uses body doubles for her nude scenes. But Mr Skin already knew we weren’t seeing her rack and rump in He Was a Quiet Man and Captivity.
She also says she’s never getting naked on film. But so did Eliza Dushku, so take that with a grain of salt and a handful of lotion.
The good news is that Elisha picks out her own body doubles by closely examining their naked bodies.
It’s not hard, or at least not difficult, to picture the Elisha’s body double selection process.
The candidates have to be nude, obviously. But since Elisha is looking for someone to be her double on screen, it would make sense for her to be nude as well so that she can compare the shape of her breasts to those in front of her.
But since these doubles might be doing sex scenes, she would also have to feel the proffered pontoons to see how they responded to the human touch.
Next, she would turn the girls around and stare deep into their browneyes to make sure the cleft of the crack and the roundness of their cheeks to find the one that best matches her own.
The final step would be for Elisha to carefully trim the bushes of the hopefuls to match her own cootchie coiffure and find the mound that most resembles her own.
If viewers could watch the selection process, it might begin to make up for the indignity of having to see a body double in the movie.
