El Largo invierno (1992)

Jaime Camino's El Largo invierno (1992), a sequel to his 1976 film Las Largas vacaciones del 36, stars Jacques Penot as a fella who's returned home to Barcelona many years after he and his family hightailed it into exile to escape General Francisco Franco's troops. How has the old house held up? Is there anyone around who remembers him and the fam? The only person he can track down is the old family butler, Vittorio Gassman. Using flashbacks to 1939, the film illustrates the Catalan resistance and the fall of Barcelona. And if history's not your thing, El Largo invierno features the large-o bazongos of one Elizabeth Hurley.
