Drowning by Numbers (1988)

Question: Who would think a woman named Cissie Colpitts could be a femme fatale? Answer: Anyone who has seen Drowning by Numbers (1988). Peter Greenaway’s award-winning film features three generations of murderesses, all of whom have the same name. Grandma Cissie Colpitts (Joan Plowright), her daughter Cissie Colpitts (Juliet Stevenson) and niece Cissie Colpitts (Joely Richardson) prove they’re no sissies when they discover how easy it is to drown a philandering spouse. Of course, it helps that the local coroner is weird enough to go along with their schemes. After all, who could refuse these dead-sexy slayers? Having seen their flesh, we’d be putty in their hands (and in their hair). In one scene, Ms. Stevenson exposes her bush and nude boob when she’s reclining on the couch. The same can be said of Ms. Richardson who also flashes her ass in a different scene. Later, Joely takes a dip in the pool. All it takes is one look at her perfect peaks and you’ll start to drool! If that’s not arousing enough, the skintastic actress presents her left breast to Madgett (Bernard Hill) in a car. Honk if you like J.R.’s headlights! The movie also includes David Morrissey, Janine Duvitski, Jason Edwards, Joanna Dickens, Trevor Cooper, and Jane Gurnett’s fab figure! As Nancy, the naked babe prances around in her birthday suit — showing off her rack, rump and muff — while she and Jake (Bryan Pringle) fool around in an orchard. Do you like them apples?
