Driven (2001)

Kip Pardue thought he was headed to the top of the racing game, but there are roadblocks ahead and his life's about to change in Driven (2001). It's championship season for the speedster set, and Kip's been trailing behind German driver Til Schweiger; under pressure from his older brother Robert Sean Leonard and wheelchair-wielding owner Burt Reynolds, he teams up with mentor Sylvester Stallone (who also wrote the screenplay) to get himself back on track. Sly's a former champ whose life ran out of gas after an accident ended his career and his marriage to gorgeous Gina Gershon. Can he put himself back together by putting Kip back in the race?
