Whether they were scared to upset the religious crowd or just didn't think it'd work on screen, 2005's Doom took the beloved video game about Space Marines battling demons in Hell and replaced it with a sci-fi story about genetically altered humans on Mars. Needless to say, it was doomed at the box office and barely made back its budget. But that's not to say it was a bad movie. Taking inspiration from some of the game's most famous sequences, Karl Urban played John "Reaper" Grimm, a Space Marine sent to save some scientists, including his sister (Rosamund Pike), who were sent to check out a portal to Mars the USA discovered in the Nevada desert. When they get there, they find that the scientists have been under attack by the remnants of a genetically altered species of human who have 24, not 23 chromosomes. Worse, these human monsters have the ability to turn some of the space Marines against each other, and soon enough Sergeant Asher Mahonin (Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson) has gone rogue and is trying to kill his squad mates. Throw on the camo and grab some ammo, there's going to be some shooting in this one! But as fans of the game know, Reaper had better grab the BFG if he's going to bring down that BMF! You'll first person shoot your load seeing Blanka Jarasova's work in this one. She's a scientist named Dr. Hillary Tallman, who we watch bless some Space Marines with her tremendous T&A right before they realize she's turned into a zombie and starts attacking them. We can change her! After all, that scene in Doom will get you in the mooD!
