Don’t Move (2004) has us moving our hands to our pants! Not to be confused with the horror novel “Don’t Move” (2020) or the thriller Don’t Move (2024), this skinternational flick stars Sergio Castellitto, who also serves as the film’s director and co-screenwriter with author Margaret Mazzantini. The drama follows Timoteo (Castellitto), a surgeon, married man and concerned dad. After his daughter Angela (Elena Perino) is in an accident, he distracts himself from her brain surgery by reminiscing about Italia, an Albanian babe and former flame played by the superlatively sensual Spanish siren Penélope Cruz. Unlike the upper-crusty Timoteo, Italia is a woman with a traumatic past and impoverished means yet she enriches her lover’s life in priceless ways. Needless to say, this includes invaluable escapades in the bedroom! Considering how sexy she is, it’s no surprise Timoteo has eyes (and another part of his anatomy) for Italia. Mr. Skin feels the same — especially after seeing her flash her fabulous flesh on camera. At the 52-minute mark, Ms. Cruz exposes her beautiful breasts during an examination. No wonder Penélope picked up the David di Donatello prize for her performance. Indeed, just the scene with her bare chest merits a statuette in Mr. Skin’s jeans! Not to be outdone, Timoteo’s wife Elsa (Claudia Gerini) reveals her rump during a hump with her man. Alas, complications arise when both Italia and Elsa become pregnant. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t look good for Pen’s character, but at least the audience will have a happy ending!
