Doctor Who (1963)

I've been known to adore my share of "nerdly" things: Douglas Adams novels, movies with unicorns, role-playing games, etc. Sadly, Doctor Who is one geeky pursuit than I've never been able to embrace. Come to think of it, the very sight of this long-running British sci-fi series is enough to run shivers down my spine. It’s that bizarre of a TV show. But don't go by me, as there's about a million fans out there who'll sincerely praise this oddball series to high heaven. Bottom line is that it's weird, and with most weird things - you simply have to decide for yourself. (I avoided an actual plot synopsis, as I freely admit not having a clue to what's going on – and I've seen about nine episodes!)
