Day of the Dead (2008)

Legendary horror director Steve Miner takes his turn trying to remake the master, George A. Romero's third Dead flick with his 2008 version of Day of the Dead (2008). Ignoring a lot of the plot of Romero's 1985 classic, the remake sees Sarah Cross-Bowman (Mena Suvari) sent back to her Colorado hometown by her military superiors. Her orders are vague but simple: keep the town under quarantine, no matter what. The problem is, when her mom gets sick and Sarah heads to the hospital, she realizes this illness is a much bigger deal than she was initially told. Everyone's turned into weirdly fast zombies who can sprint, jump super far, and of course, can only be killed by destroying the brain. Abandoning her orders when it becomes clear the military knew they were sending her blind into a deathtrap, Sarah's only chance of survival is to hide out in an underground bunker and figure out what the evil scientist Dr. Engel (Pat Kilbane) knows about what's going on. With people like Nick Cannon, Ving Rhames, and 90210 babe AnnaLynne McCord along for the ride, this zombie update is a much more fun flick than Romero's politics heavy film. Plus, it's a baring buns flick! There are plenty of flesh-eating walking stiffs in this one and you’ll be walking a little stiff yourself when you get a glimpse of AnnaLynne’s coin-slot after Mena interrupts her and her boyfriend on the couch. Then, when her and her boyfriend try to barricade the door, we see that ass once more! Sure, it's just a bit of buttcrack but you'll be watching that dead sexy scene all day!
