Dark Blue Almost Black (2006)

Dark Blue Almost Black (2006) is the tale of a bunch of muddled young people trying to figure out where they stand on the relationship front. Twentysomething Quim Gutierrez (and yes, his name is "Quim") is busy taking care of his stroke-addled pops, covering for him at work and pondering his papa issues. Quimbo spends his free time with Raul Arevalo, his bud with budding sexuality questions, when he's not keeping up a correspondence with his comely ex, college cutie Eva Pallarés. His jailbird brother, Antonio de la Torre, is preoccupied with his own relationship issues—especially his fondness for foxy fellow inmate Marta Etura, who has baby fever something fierce. Can Antonio handle a baby behind bars? Can Quim figure out where his life is headed? Can Eva and Marta bare their wares, por favor? Good news: they can and they do!
