Darian Caine: The MrSkin.com Interview
Not to discredit all the gazonga goddesses in modern cinema, but with all the plastic pairs floating around the softcore world these days, it's a tasty treat to run across the real deal. Ohio native Darian Caine flaunts her perky pair with no inhibitions in such B-movie skin parodies as Erotic Survivor (2001) and Mummy Raider (2001), among many others.

Now a resident of upstate New York, Caine keeps herself within a palm's reach for Seduction Cinema, who constantly have her popping her top and losing her drawers for one filmic breakthrough after another.

She's a natural talent, indeed, and has taken time out to speak with a member of the Skin Team about her lusty, already well-revered career.

It doesn't take Alfred Kinsey to realize you're very ambitious when in character. Your performances in SpiderBabe and Lustful Addiction are incendiary. They seem almost real--not that we're complaining. So let me ask you: Do you climax in your sex scenes, or are we in the presence of another top-drawer method actor?
Because there is no real oral pleasure in erotic softcore films, it is impossible for a real climax. I do find most of the women [whom I work with] incredibly sexy, so it is still a real turn-on. The acting part is how my real climax is in bed.

In Roxanna, there's a scene where Misty Mundae snorts coke off your breast. Looks like a good time from our end. Did you get the chance to return the favor to Misty that day?
Well, I do like to party when it's the right time. But coke was never my thing.

What was the hottest softcore film you performed in? Is there a certain title that you remember being the horniest in?
Most people would say Erotic Witch Project. It has actually been a long-running laugh. Many women in the erotic industry blacklisted us because they believed it was real hardcore sex. It's not my fault that Laurie Wallace and Victoria Vega are so hot. [Laughs.]

Myself, personally, I would say Julie Strain in Chantal. She is my all-time idol. Unfortunately I was way too nervous around her to be turned on. Then again, there's always Gladiator Eroticvs and Mistress Frankenstein because I got to fool around with every woman in the cast.

How would you describe the allure of Julie Strain? Are there certain films of hers that you're especially fond of?
She is just an amazing creature: unbelievably tall, close to perfect sculpture, and has lots of drive. I have many of her films, comic books, and collectibles.

So how did you feel performing a love scene with Julie in Chantal?
Nervous. I usually get the new women. I am good at making them feel comfortable and relaxed--getting the girls to enjoy themselves. But I was totally out of my element that day.

Why, was she teasing you?
Actually she didn't tease me at all. She was very pleasant and accommodating. I had the dominant role, but I was the submissive in the scene. I don't think you can tell on camera though.

I recently spoke to a B-movie actress who claimed that porn actresses came into the softcore industry, and consequently she (and others) had a difficult time getting work because the supposed porn actresses would be willing to do a lot more. Is this true?
Seduction Cinema keeps acting high on the list in their erotic titles. The other companies I have worked for were either indie horror/gore or fetish. ei Cinema's "harder" titles are saved for after hours. The story behind Erotic Witch was just hearsay.

I just remember some of the B-movie magazine editors and internet fan sites avoiding interviews and publicity of the film because they were told that by other erotic actresses. They were told that Laurie, Victoria, and I were really having oral sex in the film. Fans started to believe the same thing, but it didn't last long.

When did everything cool off?
I guess either the credibility of the other erotic actresses were extinguished by the amount of people who saw the film or the fact that Seduction Cinema had so many titles come out afterward to prove otherwise. You know, the fact that S.C. did not hire porn actresses and instead B-movie actresses.

How did you get into the softcore business exactly?
It's a pretty boring story. I've always wanted to venture past the chaotic world of mainstream, past the annoying casting calls, the interviews where the photographers, producers, and clients hit on me or try to get me to do something extra for the job. The hours of waiting in a trailer with arrogant and ignorant actors for one scene just didn't do it for me anymore.

I had finally met a photographer who sent me to an agency that worked with erotic actresses and models. So I said, "What the hell, I'll try anything once."

You mention on dariancaine.com how you "jerk off a lot" in your spare time. So then, when was the last time you had some time to yourself?
Today I raked some leaves and stripped an old table, but I do force myself to have some Darian time. It's only healthy.

Since we're on the subject, tell us what your love life is like. I mean, do you date around, or are you a one-man/one-woman kind of woman?
I'm definitely the one-man/one-woman type.

So are you with one man or one woman--or both--right now?
Let me restate that one. I am a one-man/occasionally-one-woman-type of woman!
