Anyone out there consider Annie Potts a suitable replacement for Michelle Pfeiffer? Me neither. Audiences clearly agreed as well, as this pointless spinoff lasted less than 18 episodes back in 1996. As to be expected, the series was populated with mopey and confrontational teens who feel the liberating spark of education thanks to one plucky teacher. Seen it all before, and it wasn’t all that interesting the first time.
