Xena Star Lucy Lawless Set To Bare All on Spartacus

For years you were teased by the skimpy costumes and lesbian undertones of Xena: Warrior Princess, hoping that stars Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor would throw down their swords and battle each other between the sheets. But, alas, both babes used body doubles even for faraway side-boob shots. Lucy, at least, let an entire breast slip out of her shirt while she sang the National Anthem at a Detroit Red Wings game, but we've never seen her intentionally nude.

In so many ways, 2008 will be remembered as a moment when history was made.

By this, of course, Mr Skin means that the year brought big-screen nude debuts from The O.C.’s Mischa Barton, Australian pop figure Sophie Monk, and Popular star Carly Pope.

Cable movie network Starz has recently branched out into original programming a la HBO and Showtime with the based-on-the-Oscar-winning-film series Crash. And the net has taken a cue from it's predecessors—by including lots of nudity to add punch (in your pants) to the dramatic proceedings!

The film upon which the series is based found Jennifer Esposito exposing her Espo-teat-os in bed with Don Cheadle, but without a plethora of big-name stars filling its roster (Dennis Hopper almost counts), the TV show Crash had to up the booby ante. In previous episodes, Clare Carey and Arlene Tur showed off their naked turf, and on Friday's episode Hayley Marie Norman, who recently exposed her parts in Trailer Park of Terror, joined their ranks.

Mr Skin has heard rumblings that the show's days might be numbered, so we're counting on further nudity to keep the show off the chopping block. What better way to save the series' hide than by showing off lots of naked back (and front) sides!
