Courtney Trouble has a lot to celebrate these days.

Skin Central: What's the first nude scene you remember seeing, and under what circumstances?

Courtney Trouble: This is going to be controversial, but the first nude scene I remember was the first scene in KIDS (1995)- I watched that movie for the first time on the couch with my dad. I went back to watch it again the next day, alone. The amorality and train-wreck of it all was exciting to me for some reason.

SC: What’s your all-time favorite nude scene in a movie, or one that has just stuck with you?

CT: I love Kate Winslet pissing in Holy Smoke! (1999), and also her sketching scene in Titanic (1997).I just love how natural she is in them. 'Like, oh, I’m pissing, here I am.' And she stays in character so well.

SC: Who are, in your estimation, the three hottest actresses of all time (mainstream or porn)?

CT: The three hottest actresses of all time are Mae West, Angelina Jolie, and April Flores.

SC. BDSM and kink are embraced on your sites. Were you one of those kids who got a kinky kick watchingWonder Womanwield her magic lasso? If so, does any scene in particular stick in your mind?

CT: I can’t say I watched [that show], but I will tell you that I may have gotten a kink for gangbangs from watching The Smurfs. The concept of one lady living in a villiage of men, well, that’s pretty hot to me!

SC: What do you look for in a porn performer? Can anybody do it, given the chance?

CT: I do think anyone can do it. I think there is something sexy about everyone. I’m not being all pat-on-the-back-all-is-love-hippy about it either - I literally think that for every person out there, there are others who find that person sexually arousing. What I look for in a porn performer is the confidence factor, the self-awareness of sexiness.

SC: Do you think the adult industry has changed in terms of diversity since you started Nofauxxx back in 2002?

CT: Ten years ago, there was literally NO queer porn. Nothing. And now, there is. I see “Queer Porn” as more than just lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, et cetera. I see it as a movement where porn performer’s gender identities, sexual preferences, and political minds are respected and represented authentically in the scenes. I honestly do not think there was much of that going on ten years ago.

SC: Your DVDNostalgia“queers” classic porn likeBehind the Green DoorandDeep Throat. Are you a fan of ‘70s smut?

CT: Love it! I love the cinematic elements of the golden era pornos from the 70s. I love the 16mm. The grain. The processing. The editing. I love that they were worthy of being shown in theatres. I love that everything was specially made for it, like the music. I own the Deep Throat (1972) soundtrack on vinyl. And yeah, I listen to it!

SC: How did Carol Queen and Nina Hartley get involved in your new project,Live Sex Show?

CT: I’ve been buddies with them for a few years now. San Francisco is actually a pretty small town, us sex geeks sort of topple on top of each other at any given event. Carol Queen is amazing, but she’s sooo busy! And that’s how I’ve gotten so close to her partner Robert, whom I planned Live Sex Show with. He’s the one who brought Nina Hartley on board. She’s fucking incredible. I still can’t believe that day actually happened. I couldn't believe I was let in to play with the big stars. And then, there I was getting fucked by them...

SC: Tell us more! You really didn’t know [the 5-on-1 all-star gangbang at the end ofLive Sex Show] was going to happen? What did you think you were walking into?

Well, I shot Live Sex Show in its entirety within a 5-hour time frame. That’s six scenes in 5 hours. Nina Hartley and Jiz Lee were last in line, the headliners of the show (there was actually an audience of 200 people there watching it all go down) and after they were done, I was like keeling over exhausted. I collapsed on the bed that everyone had fucked on that day and put my feet up. I honestly just needed to rest - I’m pretty sure you can spot the bags under my eyes in the scene. So anyways, there I was collapsed on the bed, and Nina and Jiz Lee both grab my thighs and pull them apart. Before I knew it, all of the porn stars from the event where on top of me, pinning me down, putting tits and cocks into my mouth, and Nina and Jiz working so damn hard trying to make me ejaculate - which I did.
