Cold Weather (2011)

Cold Weather is the gripping story of Doug (Chris Lankenau), a former forensic science student who leaves Chicago to live in Oregon with his sister Gail (Trieste Kelly Dunn). Having abandoned his schooling, Doug resolves to start a newer, simpler life working at an ice factory. He soon meets and befriends Carlos (Raul Castillo), a co-worker and club DJ on the side. When Carlos’ ex-girlfriend suddenly goes missing, it’s up to Doug to resume his old studies and crack the case. This independent film is a fresh and unique mystery fueled by strong, captivating (and did we mention sexy?) characters.
