Claudia Jennings was a queen of the drive-in movie exploitation circuit that made film going so pleasurable in the '70s. Born, appropriately, Mary Eileen Chesterton, the onetime Playboy receptionist eventually answered the incessant calls to pose, and her tons of chestage became "Playmate of the Year" in 1970. After finding fame in the world of nudie mags, she became known as the "queen of B movies" when she starred in such faves as Unholy Rollers (1972), 'Gator Bait (1976) and The Great Texas Dynamite Chase (1977). Claudia was nude in basically every movie she showed up in, starting in the way ahead of its time, The Stepmother (1971). Decades before it became the only XXX genre there is online, Claudia offered a full-frontal view of why Dad remarried. After getting her clothes torn off, she played a naked game of pool in Unholy Rollers (1972) before showing up in an episode of The Brady Bunch as a talent agent trying to lure Greg Brady into ditching the family act and going solo. More up her alley was Truck Stop Women (1974) and The Single Girls (1974) both of which featured ample nudity, as did her work in David Bowie's The Man Who Fell to Earth (1976). It wasn't just bush with this babe, who could get as rude and kinky as the breast of them, as she proved completely nude and tied to a gurney in Deathsport (1978). Sadly, this was almost her last appearance onscreen. Her life was cut short at the age of twenty-nine when she fell asleep behind the wheel of her Volkswagen convertible on her way to Malibu, resulting in a fatal crash along the Pacific Coast Highway. Around that time, Aaron Spelling wanted her to possibly replace Kate Jackson on Charlie's Angels, but her explicit career scared network executives off. Instead, she now lives amongst the angels.
