Biography

The captivating Claire Lautier was born in Pensacola, Florida on the last day of the 1960s! Talk about a last minute flower child! In large part because she seemed to prefer the stage to the screen, Claire was a late bloomer who didn't make her screen debut until she turned 30, appearing on a 1999 episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Since the Law & Order universe is an absolute mess when it comes to continuity, soon after she played a completely unrelated cop on an episode of Law & Order. From there, she's worked steadily on both the big screen and the boob tube, most notably appearing as Charlotte, a news reporter in the perennial Holiday favorite Elf (2003). Despite being such a small role, that one gained Claire a bit of a cult following thanks to the condescending boss that mocks her previous work for the Buffalo affiliate, her calmness while dealing with a sexually harassing Santa's sleigh witness, and the relatability of Santa knowing what she wants for Christmas is an engagement ring from her noncommittal boyfriend. Claire moved on to House of D (2004), and Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), as well as the TV shows Numb3rs, Grey's Anatomy, and King. But if you want to know why in real life Claire's boyfriend wouldn't need a push from Chris Kringle to lock her down, have a gander at her nude debut in the Canadian comedy Margarita (2012), where Claire ever-so-briefly bared her left breast while lying in bed with some guy that looks like Chubby from Teen Wolf. And speaking of chubbies... Claire's last acting role came in a 2017 episode of Saving Hope, and hasn't been seen on screen since. We're still saving a spot in our spank bank for Claire. Here's hoping Miss Lautier gives us another peek at her body sooner rather than later.
