British-born and New-York raised, Claire Bronson (no relation to Charles), has appeared in everything from low-budget horror to big Hollywood movies, and from streaming TV series to primetime hits—and does it all looking spectacular with her dark-red hair and green eyes. Mr. Skin would have liked to see what she did in the movie Psychopathia Sexualis (2006) early in her career, but unfortunately her scenes were deleted (sad face). Elsewhere on TV, the busy actress has popped up The Walking Dead, Ozark, The Outsider, Bloodline, Nashville, Sleepy Hollow, and Army Wives; and had recurring roles as Candace Stockley in Powers from 2015-2016 on the PlayStation Network, in the Cinemax series Outcast as Evenly Bailey in 2017, and in 2019 as Marjorie Saubers in Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes, a Peacock streaming series. On the big screen, she’s played Cynthia in A.C.O.D. (2013) with Adam Scott and Amy Poehler, Mrs. Chapman in Just Mercy (2019) with Michael B. Jordan and Brie Larson, and Debra Jones in the movie Greenland (2020) with Gerard Butler, and real-life husband Scott Poythress. In addition to acting, she also teaches actors at Atlanta’s Drama Inc., which she also co-founded and owns. Sometimes those who can do, also teach.
