Chocky

Television adaptation of legendary English sci-fi scribe John Wyndham’s novel of the same name, Chocky tells the tale of a curious young boy who believes he’s been befriended by an invisible (and wholly powerful) being from outer space (or maybe another dimension). Surprisingly deep for a ‘kids show’, though this version doesn’t come close to the clever questions posed in Wyndham’s novel. An obscure curiosity from across the pond that’s all but vanished from the planet.
