There's already a teaser for the trailer for the next installment, but the trailer itself won't come out until Monday, October 19, during Monday Night Football. Word on the street is that pre-sale tickets will be available at this time as well, but there hasn't been an official confirmation yet. Might we suggest setting a Google alert?
Besides Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill will also be back in their original roles. There's a surprise among new cast members though, and if you've kept up with any of the shows on Fox this fall, you probably know who she is.

Like mother, like daughter

Leave it to Carrie Fisher, the daughter of actress Debbie Reynolds, to continue the familial fame tradition. Her daughter, blossoming 23 year-old actress Billie Lourd, is making her big-screen debut in The Force Awakens.

Billie is keeping her role in the film a secret, but she has revealed this much: She will not be playing Princess Leia's daughter. Bummer. Billie recently made her small screen debut as well, starring in Ryan Murphy's hilarious horror Scream Queens as Chanel #3.

And yes,Billie's character wears earmuffsin Scream Queens as a tribute to her mother's iconic Princess Leia buns. Go figure. We haven't seen any skin from Carrie Jr. yet, but one thing is for sure: Her career is just taking off. Patience, young padawan.
