Calmos (1976)

Great Nudity!

Review

Writer-director Bertrand Blier's phantasmagoria Calmos (1976) follows the misadventures of middle-aged pals Paul (Jean-Pierre Marielle) and Albert (Jean Rochefort), who ditch their wives and hit the road, hoping for freedom from responsibilities. After setting up camp in a lazy town, our heroes are captured by a uniformed army of enraged females, who hold them captive and turn them into scientifically monitored sperm producers. This is hardly the life these louts were looking for, but at least they (and we) get some great eyefuls of naked European knockouts.
