Call to Glory

Well-admired mini-series becomes not-half-bad TV series. Craig T. Nelson takes center stage in the ongoing tale of military base-bound theatrics. The enthusiasm for the source material proved brief, as the resulting series ran barely two full seasons, though the series was certainly entertaining enough in its own right. Cindy Pickett and Keenan Wynn offer some background color, while a young Elisabeth Shue figures into the equation as Nelson’s precocious daughter.
