C.B. Hustlers (1978)

The fads of the late 1970s were odd and in some cases improbably enduring. Disco music, for instance, will probably never fully fade from the pop-cultural Zeitgeist, but C.B. radios have already been pushed back into the cabs of big-rig truckers and would fade from mass consciousness if not for the preservationist effect of C.B. Hustlers (1978). In this Stu Segall-directed sex farce, a trio of super-endowed backwoods hookers troll along rural routes in a plush brothel van, fishing for johns over the waves of their citizens’ band radio. The arrangement makes all pros and players happy, but along comes a moralistic spoilsport to try to put a stop to the titillation.
