Bronski & Bernstein

Bronski (Matthias Schloo) is a good cop – young, ambitious, driven. Bernstein (Xaver Hutter) is the son of the Chief of Police. Not ambitious. Not driven. And where he is because of who his father is. Cue your usual mis-matched police partners action/comedy/drama, this one from Germany, where it’s good to know that bad police shows aren’t a strictly American domain, nor are good ratings for bad cop shows. So what’s the gist of this show? In the words of our particularly inept or stoned… Skin-Translator Team, “Bronski and Bernstein find themselves into friendly hate love together and bring its boss regularly to the edge of the despair.” You got it? Well, even if you don’t, it stars the delectable Bettina Zimmerman, so that makes it VERY watchable.
