Making her home in London, Belgrade, and Los Angeles gives yummy Yugoslavian actress Branka Katicplenty of options for projects, and she’s exercised every one of them. She made her first movie at the age of 14, starring as Tanja in Yugoslavia’s It Isn’t Easy to Get Along with Men (1985), and has pretty much been working steadily ever since. The earlier part of her career features predominantly Yugoslavian projects, but then she married English director Julian Farino in 2000, who has also had a successful career in Hollywood, and her international adventures began. She started with a small role as Sofia in the UK series The Vice in 2000, then joined the US and Czech Republic collab of the mini-series Anne Frank: The Whole Story (2001) with Ben Kingsley, playing the character Charlotte. From then on, the dark-haired actress flipped from country to country, television to feature film, racking up almost 80 different credits along the way. For those in the US quadrant, you’ll recognize Branka from any number of things, but Mr. Skin will start with the most important—her lingerie moment when she starred as the recurring character Ana in the HBO series Big Love from 2007-2011.
