Brain Blockers

Brain Blockers (2004)

Great Nudity!

Top Scene

Review

Nutty professor Edwin Craig has cooked up an experimental drug (called . . . tryptophan?) that he's testing on his none-the-wiser young charges. Unfortunately these brain blockers have an ugly side effect: they turn the poor saps into blood-struck, zombie-like wretches! Investigative reporter Ned Liebl and sexually frustrated grad-school lovers Matt Shevin and Timmi Cragg set out to set things right and defeat this turkey, but time may be short . . . and the trail of dead might just be mighty long. A low-budget tongue-in-cheeker, Brain Blockers (2004) spoofs itself and B-schlock in general, including a scene in which a character cracks on Fangoria magazine. Watch for the character calling a horror flick a "waste of time"—the clip shown is from Blood in the Night (1993), directed by Brain Blockers director Lincoln Kupchak.
