Boulevard Bio

Alfred Bioleck hosted the German public TV show, Boulevard Bio throughout the 90s and into the early 2000s. He would invite guests on for different special topics, and the show was hosted in a former ballet rehearsal hall. The set went through many minimal changes, like adding in art from 80s pop artist Keith Haring, and adding in different types of wicker chairs, tables, and flowers, sometimes used by the guests of the evening. Given Bioleck’s longstanding fame in the country, and being universally known as a good listener and commentator, guests typically felt comfortable and at ease with him, creating an atmosphere where they could divulge more than they otherwise would.

In one episode, Annie Sprinkle does a sexy dance where she pulls her pastied boobies out of her red dress. The busty redheaded Fraulein then goes on to tweak and play with them, giving the audience a show they probably soon didn’t forget. If only they’d imported this show to the U.S.
