She starred in her own sitcom, The Bonnie Hunt Show, in 1995, but it was short lived. Bonnie knows a thing or two about resuscitating a career: Before she made it in the business of show, she worked as a cancer-hospital nurse. And while that image of a candy-striping Bonnie lingers, she will never have to return to emptying bedpans after getting roles in Jerry Maguire (1996), The Green Mile (1999), and Cheaper by the Dozen (2004).
