Blue Skies

This 1988 series kept Tom Wopat from selling his ass to pay for bread. Having been ignored since he walked out on the Dukes of Hazzard over a pay dispute, this series performed about as well as those old police cars that Roscoe P. Coltrane used to jump into the river every week. The show did, however, feature Season Hubley and since she showed her brillo in 1979’s feature film Hardcore, that’s particularly noteworthy from a Skin point of view. Wopat starred as a divorced guy, newly married and trying to make something of the shreds of his life. Ironically, after eight episodes and a quick cancellation, that’s exactly what Wopat had to do in real life.
