Science, when it behaves, is dedicated to the service of man, but the pure pursuit of knowledge has had a way of undermining us innocent humans ever since Eve took a bite of that mind-expanding apple back in paradise. Fast forward to now. A descendent of that first curious female decides to take advantage of modern technological advances and signs up to be impregnated at a clean and bright fertility clinic. Truly, she has reason to count herself among the Blessed (2004). No need for divine intervention or the sticky residue of an annoying man. Babies these days can be created on demand. But wait! The silly mortal has inadvertently paid to have herself knocked up with Satan’s DNA!
