Review

The suspense thriller Blacktop (2000) tracks the harrowing adventures of Sylvia (Kristin Davis) and her comedian boyfriend David (Lochlyn Munro) as they are trailed and tormented all over an interstate highway by Meat Loaf, as demonic, truck-driving sadist Jack, who insists he’s just trying to help. After kidnapping Sylvia, Jack leads David on a relentless, pitfall-laden chase that culminates with a violently satisfying payoff. Blacktop is tense and well crafted but never more captivating than when Kristin shows off her pink front while clad in a white bra. Vroom! Vroom!
