Slap a band aid on your sister’s bloodied knee and you’d hear, “aaww, aren’t you just a regular Ben Casey?” Nowadays such a remark would see Grandma sent back to the home. Starring Vince Edwards as ‘the Case’, Sam Jaffe as Dr. Zorba and Bettye Ackerman (that name would have been changed today) as Dr. Maggie Graham, the show tended to come down to Casey vs. the Establishment, he just wanting to save some poor sap’s life and they just wanting to save a few doughbucks. Stella Stevens also starred as Jane Hancock. Why is this important? Because she took off her clothes and soaped up in both Monster in the Closet and Slaughter. HUZZAH!
