Was there any doubt that after three Beastmaster films (well.. videos) had been released, that eventually someone would decide to base a TV series on it? In this spin-off, Dar the Beastmaster (Daniel Goddard), the sole survivor of his tribe, wanders the ancient lands, seeking out his beloved Kira (which, if he finds her, would make him not the sole survivor), defending the animals that he can control and pitting his might against the evil tyrants and sorcerers of the land. Close in feel to Hercules and Xena, the major difference between this and other fantasy shows is that on this one, characters are actually killed by each other. Bonus! Skinsters appearing include Roswell’s Emilie deRavin and the sultry Marjean Holden, who showed her luscious booty in 1992’s Sweet Justice.
