Battery Park

A comedy crime drama series, Battery Park dealt with a group of cops that are looking to clean the streets of mobsters. The show aired for a month, then stopped with at least one more episode never seeing the light of day, which is all the more incredible when you learn that Elizabeth Perkins (Captain Madeleine Dunlevy) and Bokeem Woodbine (Detective Derek Finley ) starred in the thing. Jacqueline Obradors co-starred, which is a good thing because she makes me feel funny down there. So why did this show end so quickly? Maybe some of the eastside boys didn’t like these TV people snooping around their business, huh? Fuhgeddaboutit! What are you, some kinda mook?
