What the hell? I’d really like to try some of the mushrooms that were being given out in the BBC writers lounge when they came up with this one. Aunt Boomerang is the ghost of an Australian soap star, Celia Bigsby (Toyah Wilcox), who was killed when a sign fell on her on the set of 'Cobblers', the aussie soap that made her a household name. Oddly, her spirit lived and now Aunt Boomerang is “in touch with the energies of the native Australian people, from whom she gained the Billabong-blaster, a flute-like instrument which, when blown, summons her.” Have you got that? See, now the Magic Roundabout doesn’t seem like such a mind-fuck. Of course, Toyah Wilcox is a well-respected kids show actress now and wouldn’t think of showing her hoo-haw in front of a camera but that wasn’t the case in 1985 when the hot mama showed a sensational side of rump in The Ebony Tower. And we’ve got the pictures!
