Barbara Leigh-Hunt is Mr. Skin’s kind of woman. The veteran British actress has put together a very impressive resume, but the thing she is most well-known for is appearing in Alfred Hitchcock’s Frenzy (1972) where she had the first-ever filmed murder scene that included on-screen nudity. Any woman who breaks the nudity barrier is someone we can get behind. Born in Bath, Somerset, Barbara attended drama school at the legendary Old Vic theater. She eventually joined the Old Vic acting troupe and began appearing in various productions. From there she moved on to the Royal Shakespeare Company where she would eventually win the Lawrence Olivier Theater Award for her work in the play An Inspector Calls. Her screen career started with a small part on the TV series The Recording Angells and quickly grew. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, she established herself as a go-to actress for all things Shakespeare on screen and stage. With a career that has covered drama, comedy, thrillers, and fantasy, Ms. Leigh-Hunt has proved she can do it all.
