North Vancouver's own Barbara Kottmeier has been in so many TV shows and movies you've watched over the years, that one look through her IMDB page and you'd assume she must be a huge star. But despite this longevity, the career of Miss Kottmeier never really caught fire; as no matter how many movies and shows she appeared in, the role that would make her a household name eluded her. Instead, she's the doe eyed brunette you would love to have your hands all over, even if you can't quite put a finger on what you know her from. Barbara got her start alongside Rae Dawn Chong on an episode of Mysterious Ways, but made her big screen debut in Adam & Evil (2004). It's a pretty typical early 2000's slasher flick about sexy teens getting murdered in the woods, but we did get to catch a peek of Kottmeier swimming in a black bra and panties. Still, coming that close to nudity and denying us the full show? That's evil. Barbara was the "hot young lady" in The Sandlot 2 (2005) and "Beautiful Girl #1" in John Tucker Must Die (2006), (where when it comes to Barbara not just John would die to....Tuck-er) all before playing the "Centaur Girl" in Trick 'r Treat (2007). Our treat came when we got a tour of Barbara's bare ass when she landed the recurring role of Madison Halsey on The L Word. The L word is lesbian, if watching Barbara slip her panties off for another lovely lady didn't make that crystal clear. Barbara was on an episode of Fringe, got crept on by an invisible kid while showering in a pair of episodes of Supernatural, and hit the comic book scene as Dr. Ray Palmer's fiancé Anna Loring on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Her last acting role came in 2017, when she took a role in Falling for Vermont (2017) a pretty typical Hallmark movie.
