Babes in the Wood (1998)

Men Behaving Badly (the UK version, not the ‘sanitized’ US version) was quite possibly the funniest TV show of the last twenty years, going for a good seven seasons and eventually being ‘remade’ (terribly) for US TV. Babes in the Wood was the female version of Men Behaving Badly, only it should have been called Girls Acting Badly or Writers Writing Badly or Audiences Hurting Badly. Unfunny from the first second to the final show of the second season, this tale of three girls sharing a flat in London only ever managed to pick up any viewers because there were women to look at. In fact, talk to anyone who actually voluntarily watched the series and chances are they’ll confess that they watched with the sound turned down. Starring Samantha Janus, Denise van Outen and Natalie Walter as Ruth, Leigh and Caralyn respectively, there’s no need to subject yourself to this awful show just to see some top totty. Janus can be seen stark bollock naked in 1998’s Up’n’Under, while Van Outen’s van spoutens can be seen in the UK mini-series Murder in Mind. Alternately, while there’s no nudity in Love, Honor and Obey, Van Outen demonstrates her oral technique on a banana in a way that is guaranteed to make your pant space a bit more constricted.
