With long blonde hair, blue-eyes, and a tanned beach body, Athena Isabel Lebessis seems like the perfect California girl, but she actually hails from the great white north. This comely Canadian got her start as a model and dancer, but her curvaceous charms soon landed her a role as the “Super Stripper” in the college comedy romp American Pie Presents Beta House (2007), one of many sequels to the original American Pie(1999). In the movie, two frat boys are competing to see who can hold out the longest while strippers gyrate in front and on top of them. It’s just two cute girls to begin with, but then they bring in a ringer, a super stripper from Las Vegas, aka Athena, dressed in a cleavage-baring push-up bra and cheek-baring panties. Girl can do a handstand wicked good! Next up was the supporting role of Marie in the indie film Sun Goddess(2010), followed by a bigger role as Lisa in Betroit (2012). In 2015, she landed the role of May in the drama, horror, thriller Fractured, starring Eric Roberts and Jake Busey; and one as Serena Stone in the TV movie Royal Family Christmas (2015) starring Tichina Arnold and Vivica A. Fox. She was also Erin in Paid in Full(2016), starring Jonathan “it’s October 3rd” Bennett before deciding to do some work behind the scenes. She produced the short film Rise of the Mask (2018); and wrote, associate produced, and starred in Revenge of the Mask (2018), both based on the same Dark Horse comic series Jim Carrey’s film The Mask (1984) was based on. Canada sure knows how to be a good neighbor!
