Back when the teen melodrama The O.C. ruled the high-school crowd on Fox, its female stars, Mischa Barton and Rachel Bilson, were at the top of the Hollywood heap. Both showed oodles of promise, as they were young, hot, and eager to propel their careers.

Had you asked us then which starlet we thought would go nude first, we probably would have gone with Bilson. She was a spitfire, seemed like she would try anything, and was often left in Mischa's shadow. Actresses who feel they are being ignored will usually go to great (naked) lengths to get our attention.

But alas, though Mischa has delivered great nude scenes in Closing the Ring and Assassination of a High School President, Rachel has kept us from O, Seeing much of anything.

So here's our plea: Don't let Mischa get all of our attention. Lingerie pics in magazines are nice, but nothing says "I'm a star" like a revealing, well-lit movie nude scene. Rachel Bilson, please get nude soon.

The dark comedy Assassination of a High School President (2008) stars Reece Thompson as a reporter on the school newspaper who uncovers a vast and evil conspiracy after he mistakenly accuses student-body president and popular jock Patrick James Taylor of stealing a stack of SAT tests. Mischa Barton appears as the disgraced jock’s girlfriend who mysteriously starts making moves on Reece after her boyfriend’s fall from grace. Mischa gets a B average in Toplessness 101 when she bares both boobs in the tub three separate times. If she stood up, she could raise her grade (among other things).

Since The O.C. premiered in 2003, I have been following Mischa Barton's career, waiting for her to unveil what we all knew must be a spectacular set of sacks and one succulent slice of seat-meat. Now that clips from her upcoming movie Closing the Ring (2007) have been posted to the web, my skin-spectations have been exceeded. In the clip, taken from a Spanish-language trailer, we first we spy Mischa's ripe rump as the camera follows some guy into a room to see her facing the other way. Then Barton bares her boobs as she turns toward us, displaying a perfectly separated pair of b-cups with pink nips the size of 50-cent pieces. She's not Dolly Parton , she's Mischa Barton! Mischa is also to be topless in another upcoming film, Assassination of a High School President (2008). Hopefully, the best of the breast is yet to come!
