What’s Hot: Desperate Housewives perfectly surfed the pop culture wave between MILF-mania and Cougar Fever to create a show full of actresses over 30 who are anything but matronly … or desperate.

What’s Hot: Wet blankets coined the term “Jiggle TV” in response to Three’s Company and its endless parade of high-action, too-tight tops squeezed into by braless starlets. What’s Hot: Let’s see, how do we make a game show involving famous folk performing ballroom dance, the rumba, the cha-cha-cha, and the tango and make it – hot to put it? – not completely gay? By stocking each season with shockingly hot nubiles who show moves you could never have imagined them pulling off while wearing outfits that barely cling on (and sometimes they don’t’!).

What’s Hot: Not only does Nip/Tuck supply skin displays in the context of doctor visits, the show’s heroes are also sex freaks of the first order, meaning that instead of playing golf, their out in Hollywood playing with the illustrious female clientele. And we get to watch.

What’s Hot: Initially titled Not the Cosby Show, Married … With Children aims to destroy the conventions of the typical family sitcom, and it achieves its goal via uproariously smutty humor, impossibly crude situations, and an army of female eye-candy (often cast as friends of DILF Kelly) culled from the hottest casting calls in Hollywood.
